Linking your komoot account within the Beeline app

Learn how to link your Beeline and komoot accounts within the Beeline app

Updated this week

We understand that we’re not the only option out there when it comes to great navigation. When it comes to top-notch adventures, komoot is a trusted provider as well. That is why we’ve begun an integration with them, so Beeliners can now ride saved komoot routes directly from the Beeline app, with your Beeline device leading the way.

Head to the Beeline app to get started!

How to sync your Beeline and komoot accounts

Before starting, ensure your Beeline app is running the latest version since this feature’s release: 3.4.2295 or beyond for iOS users, or 4.2.5277 or beyond for Android users.

Note: These releases are currently in a staged rollout. If you have not received an opportunity to update your app quite yet, please hang tight - it will be released to you before long!

  1. Launch the Beeline app and navigate to the “Settings” page

  2. Find the “Komoot” option within the “User” section

  3. Use the “Connect” option:

4. Confirm you would like to connect your Beeline app with komoot. You’ll then be taken through a set of activation steps. Complete these to select the komoot account you’d like to connect to the Beeline app. Be sure to grant the Beeline app the permissions to access your komoot account:

5. Once you’ve completed the onboarding process, your saved komoot routes will come through to your Beeline app’s “Ride” page:

Note: The Beeline app will refresh your saved komoot routes only upon the initial sync and after quitting and re-opening the app. Otherwise, please use the “Refresh” option, and newly saved routes will be synced with Beeline at that point.

6. From here, when you’re ready to ride, select your chosen route and use the GPX import options to choose which is best suited for the adventure you’re taking on! You can learn more about our GPX import options here.

Happy Beelining!

Things to note

  • This feature links users' saved routes in komoot, not all rides ridden with komoot. If you want the ride to be linked to the Beeline app, you need to save it as a “Saved route” within komoot. This will not bring over any ride history, only the route for the next time you’d like to ride it with Beeline.

  • Saved routes must be unlocked via komoot to be synced with the Beeline app
