The Beeline app now has a loop route generator!
(By the way - this feature works for one-way, A to B trips too!)
Beeliners can use this feature to customise distance on A to B rides, or use the round-trip option to create loop routes at the scroll of the distance selector!
Please note: This is a Beeline Plus feature. To learn more about Beeline Plus and how to subscribe, please find the articles below!
To create loop routes with Beeline Plus:
1 - Open up the route planner on the "Ride" page of the Beeline app.
2 - Add necessary waypoints if you have particular stops along the way. If you simply want a round-trip loop from your current location, you can skip this step!
3 - Select the "One-way" tile and change this to "Round trip" when prompted by the pop-up menu:
4 - Select the distance you would like the journey to be and let the Beeline app do the rest to create your loop route!
5 - And voila - you've got a loop route ready to be ridden! If you'd like to customise the route further, you can do so with the usual method of dropping waypoints and dragging them to your chosen location, or adding them within the list view. Find out more about that, here.
6 - Enjoy your ride! You can either hit "Go" to start your ride, or save the route for later within the "Options" menu > "Save route" or "Share/download" based on preference
To use this feature on one-way rides:
1 - Open up the route planner in the "Ride" page of the Beeline app.
2 - Pop in your destination as you usually would to get started, adding necessary waypoints if you have particular stops along the way
3 - Select the distance you'd like your ride to be, and the Beeline app will do the rest!
4 - And voila - you're ready to ride! If you'd like to customise the route further, you can do so with the usual method of dropping waypoints and dragging them to your chosen location or adding them within the list view. Find out more about that, here.
5 - Enjoy your day out! You can either hit "Go" to start your ride, or save the route for later within the "Options" menu (see above step 5)
