Pairing with Moto II
Updated over a week ago

Watch our videos on how to pair your Beeline Moto II* with your iPhone or Android phone:

*Have you another Beeline device? That's okay! The pairing process is the same across the board!

iOS

Android

Or read our step-by-step instructions here:

The number one thing to remember! When pairing, do not attempt to pair your Beeline to Bluetooth in Bluetooth settings. Make sure you pair and set up your device through the Beeline app.

You can scan the QR code on the device or visit beeline.co/app to find a quick link to download the Beeline app from the App or Play stores.

Follow these steps to pair with your Beeline:

1. Open the Beeline app and go through the onboarding screens. It will ask you if you would like to pair to a Beeline device

2. If your Moto II has nothing on the display, hold the bottom button for 3 seconds to turn it on. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see a four-character ID in a white box (e.g. AB12).

3. In the Beeline app, select the correct device ID and allow your phone to pair. Make sure to follow any pairing prompts your phone gives you, and enable any permissions required. Your Moto II will download any firmware updates and you’ll be good to go!

This should see your device paired with your phone and ready to ride with. If this is not the case, please see our troubleshooting articles for help:

Please note: It is not currently possible to pair multiple Beeline devices with one phone. You will need to pair/ unpair from the Beeline app as well as forget the device from phone settings when swapping between the two.

How to unpair your Beeline Moto II:

If you would like to unpair your Beeline Moto II from your phone, just go to the 'Settings' tab in the Beeline app and tap ‘Unpair’.

If you need to unpair your Moto II but don’t have access to the phone that you’ve paired it to, you can unpair the device by going to the ‘Options’ menu, then selecting ‘Unpair’ and following the prompts. Once the device is unpaired, it will be reset and you’ll be able to pair it with a different phone.

If you would later like to re-pair with your Beeline, you will need to 'forget' it in your phone's Bluetooth Settings menu. This is very important on iOS. To do this on your iPhone, head to Settings > Bluetooth, then on the list titled ‘My Devices’, scroll until you find your Beeline device. Once you’ve found it, tap the blue info icon, then select Forget this device (see below).
