Experiencing issues getting your Beeline device paired with your Android phone? This article will have the solutions you are looking for.

Updated this week

While our Beeline usually pairs seamlessly with Android phones, some devices (particularly those with less consistent Bluetooth connections) can experience a hiccup. The most common issue is the Beeline being detected but failing to pair. Don't worry, a fresh start often resolves this.

The most important thing to remember is to always pair with your Beeline via the Beeline app, not the Bluetooth settings menu, as well as making sure that both the Phone and the device are ready to be paired.

Please note: While the pictures below are of a Moto II device, the steps are universal, so will work on all devices.

Getting the phone ready (unpairing/forgetting):

1. Go to the Bluetooth Settings menu on your phone

2. Look at the list of devices. The next steps depend on your phone but if you see your device in the list of already paired devices, you should be able to unpair it.

Getting your Beeline device ready (unpair):

Your device should be showing this screen:

If it is off, you can turn it on by holding the power (down) button. If it is on and not on the screen above, you can un-pair it from the Options->Unpair screen.

Now it is time to pair your Beeline via the Beeline app! You can find our pairing article here to follow the step-by-step tutorial on pairing your device.

Pairing failed/rejected?

Try turning the device off and on by holding the power button whilst on the QR code, pairing screen. This will factory reset the device and should help clear the pairing issue. Restarting your phone is also known to help.

This should do the trick but, if you are still having trouble, please contact us here. Screenshots, photos, and a list of steps you have tried will be very useful for diagnosing the issue.
