Our Beeline devices are rigorously tested to ensure seamless pairing with iPhones. While pairing issues are rare, we've outlined a few troubleshooting steps below in case you encounter any difficulties.
Watch here for some common troubleshooting tips.
Please note: Whilst the video does show the Moto II device being used, please know that the troubleshooting is universal for all devices.
The most important thing to remember is to always pair with your Beeline via the Beeline app, not the Bluetooth settings menu, as well as to make sure that the device is not still previously paired in the Bluetooth menu. Prepare both the Phone and the device to be paired as follows:
Getting the phone ready (unpairing/forgetting):
1. Go to the Bluetooth Settings menu on your phone
2. Look at the list of devices. Tap the 'i' icon next to your Beeline
3. Tap to forget your Beeline
Getting your Beeline device ready (unpair):
Your device should be showing this screen:
If it is off, you can turn it on by holding the power (down) button. If it is on and not showing the above screen, you can un-pair it from the Options -> Unpair screen.
Now it is time to pair your Beeline via the Beeline app! You can find our pairing article here to follow the step-by-step tutorial on pairing your device.
Pairing failed/rejected?
Try turning the device off and on by holding the power button whilst on the QR code, pairing screen. This will factory reset the device and should help clear the pairing issue. Restarting your phone is also known to help.
This should do the trick but, if you are still having trouble, please contact us here. Screenshots, photos, and a list of steps you have tried will be very useful for diagnosing the issue.
