Your Moto II has four RockerTop 2™ buttons, in the N, S, E and W positions of your device that you will use to scroll through the different device screens. You can use these buttons to navigate through the different device screens before, during and after your rides, as follows:
To control your device when you’re not on a ride:
Hold the bottom button for 3 seconds to power on/off your Moto II.
Use the top and buttom buttons to scroll through the device option menus. Here you’ll find the “Battery and Brightness” and “Options” screens. Use the left and right-hand buttons to control the device from here:
To control your device ride when you’re out on a ride:
The top and bottom buttons will be your ride controls for the most part to access the different ride screens. You can short-press the top and bottom buttons to scroll through the device screens.
Press the bottom button once and you’ll find the journey progress screen, showing you the current time as well as the time and distance you are from your destination:
Press the bottom button again and you’ll find the speedometer screen:
Press again and you’ll find the second journey progress screen reporting the existing time and distance statistics covered in the ride thusfar, as well as a compass feature to see exactly which direction you’re heading:

Ride Menu
Short-press the right-hand button when in the ride menu to: End the ride, stop the ride, or skip planned waypoints along the way.
For quick ride controls from any ride screen:
Press and hold the top button to skip waypoints*:
*If you don't have any waypoints along your journey, or your next waypoint is the final destination, your top button will act as the control to end the ride, rather than skip waypoints.
Press and hold the bottom button whilst on a ride to manually pause the ride for longer stops along the way:
Once the ride has been stopped, you can press the top button once more to end the ride:
You can press and hold the left and right-hand buttons when on a ride to rate the road you’re currently riding on. This gives us your feedback on good and bad roads to ride, which we can use to improve future routing for all Beeliners. You can view your ratings on your ride history and heatmap as a record of the good (and bad) spots you’ve ridden through.
You can learn more about how we're using Beeline road ratings within the bicycle activity here for a better idea of how we'd like to use these for motorcyclists in the future.
Happy Beelining!
