Following Directions on the Moto II

An insight on what your Moto II will show you whilst on a ride.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

We’ve made following a route on the Moto II even simpler with the mini-map turn-by-turn guidance.

When you’re out on a ride in Route Mode (the default navigator when choosing a route), your Moto II’s navigation screen will show a polyline highlighting your route on the map, while giving you other key information for your next direction:

Your Moto II will provide you with turn-by-turn directions in this way, but if you’d like extra alerts, we’ve got you covered as well! We have both audio and visual turn alerts that can be enabled in the Beeline app:

  • LED alerts - to notify you when you are 200 meters from your turn and then again at 50 meters from your turn - watch the explainer here

  • Audio alerts - learn more about all of the following options here.

    • The device will beep once when you are 200 meters from your next turn, and then it will beep twice when you are 50 meters from your turn.

    • Audio beeps from your app when approaching a turn. This can be heard through any connected headset.

    • Spoken audio directions. This can be heard through any connected headset.

You can enable LED and device beeps through the Beeline app > Settings > Beeline device > Alerts and Sounds:

But there are a ton more stats to be admired in the other ride screens as well, regardless of the mode you’ve chosen to ride in. Use your top and bottom buttons when on a ride to access the other journey screens. Head to our Moto II Device Buttons & UI article here to learn more!
