Beeline Online Route Planner (Beta)
Planning your next adventure is now even easier with the Beeline Online Route Planner. Designed to complement the mobile app, this desktop tool allows you to shape your perfect journey on a larger screen.
Head over to maps.beeline.co to give it a go!
Why use the Online Route Planner?
Desktop Convenience: Plan complex routes with multiple waypoints more clearly on your computer.
Seamless Syncing: Any route you create and save while logged in will automatically appear in your Beeline app—ready to ride when you are.
Custom Routing Engine: Access Beeline’s unique algorithms tailored for your vehicle type.
How it Works
The planner works very similarly to the Beeline app. You can:
Select Your Mode: Switch between Cycling and Motorcycling to access specific route options.
Cyclists: Choose from Fast, Quiet, or Balanced routes.
Motorcyclists: Choose Fast routes or Fun ones that favour curves and scenery.
Set Preferences: Click the preferences button to avoid unpaved surfaces (cycling) or highways, tolls, and ferries (motorcycling).
Customise Your Path:
Add stops or waypoints by clicking the [+] button.
Reverse your entire route with a single click using the two-arrow button.
You can undo/redo steps by using the arrow buttons in the top left corner.
Drag and drop: You can now drag the route to add intermediate waypoints
Save to App: Once you are finished, save the route to your account to find it instantly on your mobile device.
Things to note:
Beta Version: This is a work in progress! We are improving the tool constantly and value your input. If you have suggestions, please click “Give Feedback” at the bottom left of the map screen.
Units of Measurement: Currently, the online planner only displays metric units (meters/kilometres). However, if you save a route to your app and your app is set to Imperial, the route will correctly display in miles/yards once you start riding.
Guest Access: You don't need a Beeline account to try the planner! However, you will need to log in if you wish to save your routes directly to your app.
