Using the Beta Online Route Planner
Updated over 7 months ago

Beeline now has a beta version online route! Thats right, as much requested, you can now plan your journeys on a desktop. And you don’t even need to have a Beeline account!

Head over to https://maps.beeline.co/ to give it a go!

It works very similarly to planning a route on our phone app. You can:

  • Select your route type by switching between cycling and motorcycling

  • Set preferences (to avoid unpaved surfaces for cycling or to avoid highways/toll roads/ferries for motorcycling) by clicking the preferences button

  • Reverse the route by clicking the two arrow button

  • Add stops/waypoints by clicking the + button

  • Save routes to your account. If you are logged into your Beeline account, any routes that you create and save on the online route planner will appear on your app - magic!

Things to note:

  • This is a beta version of the new online route planner! It is not perfect and we would love to have all of your feedback. If you have any feedback on it, please click “give feedback” on the bottom left of the screen to let us know what you think directly there.

  • The online route planner currently only offers metric units - kilometres and metres. We will be adding imperial units - miles and yards - before long. If you save a route in the route planner in kilometres but your app is set to miles, your route will be in miles in your app
