Installing your Moto II Bar Clamp Mount
Updated over 3 months ago

Let Moto Bob walk you through the installation:

Within the Moto II mount range you’ll find the Bar Clamp Mount - our best-selling mount, new and improved for a cleaner look and increased durability!

What’s included:

  • Metal bar clamp mount

  • Spacers for the following bar diameters:

    • 22.2 mm

    • 25.4 mm

    • 28.6 mm

    • 31.8 mm

  • 2 x screws for installation:

    • 1 x M3 x 12mm with a socket head - note, this is incorrectly labelled as “M4 x 12mm” in the install guide on early production units

    • 1 x M4 x 8mm with a countersunk head

Other tools you’ll need:

  • 2.5mm hex key - we’ve chosen not to include one to reduce waste. If you don’t have one of these already, please visit beeline.co/hex-keys.

To install your Bar Clamp mount:

1 - The mount will come pre-assembled. Disassemble the mount using a 2.5mm hex key to remove the mount insert from the clamp. Use your hex key to loosen the clamp piece. Be sure to cup the mount into your hand so none of the screws are lost in the disassembly.

2 - Decide which bar shim size is appropriate for the bar you’re applying the mount to. Wrap this around the bar in preparation for the clamp.

3 - Close the clamp piece around the rubber shim applied to your bars in Step 2, making sure that the teeth on the top half of the clamp align with the bottom half.

4 - Secure the clamp piece with the M3 x 12mm screw with a 2.5mm hex key.

5 - Place the insert back into the mount cavity. Be mindful here that you have positioned the insert to allow the device to be locked into the forward riding position (power button pointing straight ahead). You may want to check this before tightening the screw in the next step.

6 - Use an 3mm Hex key to secure the M4 x 8 mm screw into the mount cavity.

7 - Your mount is ready to ride! Pop your Moto II in and make sure it’s nice and snug before heading out.

Happy Beelining!
