Installing Moto II Mount Insert Adapters
Updated over a week ago

Let Moto Bob walk you through the installation (it's the same for both mount insert adapters):

We understand you may have an original Moto mount installed on your bike that you absolutely love the set-up of but want to ride with a Moto II device on. Alternatively, maybe you have an original Moto device that you would just like to get an upgraded mount for. Either way, our mount insert adapters will allow you to ride exactly how you’d like.

The installation of the two of these are identical, but the version you need is dependent on the set-up you’re adapting to.

If you’re looking to ride with the Moto II on an original Moto mount, the Moto II device to original Moto mount Adapter will be the one for you.

If you’re looking to ride with an original Moto on Moto II mounts, the Original Moto device to Moto II Mount Adapter will be the piece you need.

To install your mount insert adapter:

1 - Start by removing the current insert in your premium mount*, keeping hold of the retaining screw.

*Note: The mount insert adapters are not compatible with the Universal mounts.

2 - Once the original insert is removed, replace it with the new insert adapter. Be mindful here that you have positioned the insert into the mount cavity allowing for the device to be locked into the forward riding position (power button pointing straight ahead). You may want to check this before tightening the screw in the next step.

3 - Use the original screw to fasten the new insert into place.

N.B. The original Moto Scooter Mirror Mount has a screw that uses a retaining circlip that must be removed before the mount insert can be replaced. You can peel away the rubber grip on the top part of the clamp in order to access this circlip, removing with a pair of pliers or a flat bladed screwdriver.

4 - Lock your Beeline in place to make sure you’ve nailed the orientation and you’re off to the races!

Happy Beelining!
